A longtime Buffalo-area hockey mascot and the area's newest hockey mascot will both be on hand Saturday for Hockey Day in Lockport.
Sabretooth will be present at Cornerstone CFCU Arena from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m., while Cornerstone Arena's Lock Monster will be on hand throughout the day. The pair are expected to assist with a TimBits hockey game around 2:40 p.m., as well as be present for the 3 p.m. ceremony honoring former Buffalo Sabres announcer Tim Darling.

Cornerstone CFCU Arena will host a special "Lock Monster Bash Halloween Skate" from 1-3 p.m. on Oct. 31.
The cost of the skate is being paid for by Heinrich Chevrolet, meaning no admission or skate rental fees for attendees.
Area residents are invited to come out and skate in their favorite Halloween costume and maybe pose for a photo with the arena's new mascot, "The Lock Monster." Celebrate his birthday with him with free cake and ice cream provided by Lake Effect Artisan Ice Cream.
Prizes are being offered for best costumes.
