The Junior Varsity Lockport Lions will get the opportunity to kick off the on-ice festivities Nov. 28 during Hockey Day in Lockport as they take center ice at noon.
The JV game will be just the first of six games on the day. Others include a Lockport High School Varsity game, an exhibition Junior A hockey game between the Lockport Express and a team made up of players from the Southern Tier Diesel and the Roc City Royals, a pair of Lockport Hockey Alumni games ("rookies" and "vintage") and a sledge hockey game, which is expected to include Olympic gold medalist Adam Page.
