Hockey Day in Lockport will feature six hockey games altogether, including one of the arena's first sledge hockey games.

Planned games include a Lockport High School Varsity game, a JV game, an exhibition Junior A hockey game between the Lockport Express and a team made up of players from the Southern Tier Diesel and the Roc City Royals, as well as a pair of Lockport Hockey Alumni games ("rookies" and "vintage"). Recently added is the sledge hockey game which is expected to include Olympic gold medalist Adam Page.

There will also be a figure skating showcase, free learn-to-skate programs, off-ice family fun and a pancake breakfast.

All month long, leading up to Hockey Day in Lockport, East Niagara Post will feature highlights of a day that's sure to be long remembered. So keep your eyes here on ENP for all the details.
