City workers are installing the annual Christmas wreaths on the light poles lining Main Street today.
The wreaths are part of the overall holiday decorating that city officials are planning to have done ahead of Saturday's Christmas on the Canal.
Monday, decorations went up on the face of City Hall and the Christmas tree was installed on top of the Palace Theatre marquee. Lights have also been strung on the trees in the Main Street medians.
