Lockport firefighters quickly put out a tire fire at Liberty Tire on Ohio Street this morning.
The small fire, which started around 10:30 a.m. did about $30,000 damage to a skid steer at the plant and approximately $1,000 damage to a ramp.
Firefighters used about 5,000 gallons of water to douse the blaze in about an hour, according to LFD Capt. Tom Lupo.
