If there's a theme to this weekend, it is undoubtedly Christmas.

Starting tonight with Niagara Hospice's "Light-A-Life" ceremony and the Col. William Bond House's "A Winterfest Eve," the holiday fun continues through gingerbread cookies at the Lockport Public Library on Friday morning, the Annual Newfane Holiday Light Up Parade in Newfane Friday evening, Scrooge: The Musical at the Palace Theatre and the Niagara Wine Trail's Holiday Happening all weekend, and an ugly sweater contest at Friday night's Lockport Express game.

Of course, there's plenty of non-holiday events to attend this weekend. The full lineup is below.
