Niagara Hospice will hold its annual Light-a-Life Memorial Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 3 p.m. under the Dominic Lariccia Family Pavilion behind Niagara Hospice House, 4675 Sunset Dr.
Guests will enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides, entertainment by a local music group, hot chocolate and coffee bar donated by Starbucks, followed by a non-denominational tree lighting service.
The community is invited to memorialize loved ones and have their names displayed on the Light-a-Life trees by calling Niagara Hospice at 280-0766 or by visiting the Events Calendar page at www.NiagaraHospice.org. Other commemorative memorial items are also available for a small donation. Orders will be taken through November 23rd.
No one is denied hospice care due to ability to pay. Through events like Light-a-Life, Niagara Hospice raises essential funds to help offset costs for individuals who are under or uninsured. Gifts made to Niagara Hospice help provide quality end-of-life care with dignity to Niagara County residents in need.
