Deborah A. “Debbie” Dowd passed away November 10, 2015 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst.

Born on January 27, 1957 in Buffalo she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Annette (Cappola) Lagree. Debbie worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for the Newfane Health Care Facility enjoying her job very much helping the elderly. She also volunteered as a grief counselor helping many people in their time of need. Debbie enjoyed bowling, was an avid reader and doing Zumba.

Debbie is survived by her husband Kenneth Dowd, Jr.; mother of Charles (Tiffany) Dowd, Kenneth Dowd, III, Caroline Dowd and the late Jessica Dowd; grandmother of Cullen Dowd; sister of Dale Lagree; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, Nov. 13th from 4-8 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport where funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 14th at 1 PM.
