An investigation Saturday night into a report of gunshots fired came up blank.
According to Lockport police, they responded to the area of Washburn and Spaulding streets around 8:32 p.m. after reports that numerous shots had been fired.
After interviewing several people in the area, however, they were "unable to determine the exact location where the shots were fired," police said.
In the end, LPD determined that the report was unfounded.
