The Lockport Police Department responded to an alarm call around 5:42 this morning, where they found someone had broken into Kenyon's Variety, 1121 Lincoln Ave.
Met there by a store employee, LPD found that someone had stolen 15 packs of Newport 100 cigarettes, valued at $10.02 each.
Kenyon's security responded to the scene to review video surveillance footage of the incident, which showed that a male used something that appeared to be a pry bar to open the door at 5:42 a.m., stealing the cigarettes and doing about $3,000 damage to the door.
Aside from the cigarettes, no other property appears to have been taken.
