TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Kinne Road woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies Thursday that someone pierced her garage door with a bullet on Tuesday.
It appears that a high-powered rifle was shot from somewhere in the 13 acres of woods behind the residence, according to the NCSO report. The bullet went through the metal garage man door, struck a plastic sawhorse leg and came to rest in an unknown location. Patrol searched the garage and was unable to locate the bullet.
Patrol told the woman to contact the Sheriff's Office if any suspicious persons were seen or heard in the woods behind her residence.
