David M. Metzger passed away suddenly August 17, 2014 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital.  Born in Amherst on February 3, 2000 he is the son of David J. and Cynthia (Ricciardelli) Metzger, Jr. of Lockport.  David attended North Park Middle School and was going to start his freshman year at Lockport High School this September.  He enjoyed riding BMX bikes, singing, playing the guitar, football, playing Xbox, and fishing.

Besides his parents David is also survived by his sister Marisa Metzger of Lockport; step-brother Sam Milioto; grandson of David & Barbara Metzger, Sr. and Theodore & Christine Ricciardelli, Sr.; great grandson of Marie Metzger; nephew of Michael Metzger, Colleen Templeton, Theodore & Maritza Ricciardelli, Jr.; also survived by several great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, August 21st from 3-8 PM, in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 22nd at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.
