Michaelene Patricia Llewellyn, age 65 of West Grove, PA, died Wednesday July 2, 2014 in West Grove. Born in Angola Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and the late Regina (Socoloski) Llewellyn. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, many types of music, travel, was an avid reader, and was an expert at needlepoint and crochet. Among the greatest of joys in her life were her nieces and nephews, whom she spent much time with and whom she doted on. Michaelene had a varied and rigorous career as a nurse, working in cardiac and intensive care as well as in clinical research as a professional in both academia and industry. She was known to family, friends, and colleagues for her kind heart and endless generosity. Her cheerful, positive spirit impacted and inspired many. She will be sadly missed and remembered with much love and affection.
Survivors include one brother, William and his wife Karen of SanJose CA; two sisters, Kathleen and her husband Jeffrey of St. Louis MO and Laura of West Grove PA and 6 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Steven in 1971.
You are invited to visit with Michaelene’s family and friends from 1-2PM Tuesday July 8, 2014 at Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home (610-869-2685) 200 Rose Hill Rd. West Grove, PA 19390. Her life celebration service will follow at 2PM. Interment will be held at a later date in Lockport NY.
