The Niagara Wine Trail's December event, Holiday Happenings, is so big it may just take you six days to take it all in.
The tour features a commemorative glass from your first winery, three wine tastings from each winery and a themed ornament from each of the 19 wineries involved.
Tickets for the event are $40 per person or $70 per couple. Wine Trail Coordinator Elizabeth Rose Maute said they expect the event to sell out, as it has in the past. It's suggested that tickets are purchased in advance from the Niagara Wine Trail website.
The Wine Trail has grown in both size and popularity over the years. While this isn't the first multi-weekend event, most of their tours take place over a single weekend. As the tours continue to grow, that may change.
"We will be having our April event in 2014 spread over two weekends, with half of the wineries participating for each week," Maute said.
This year's ornament theme is The Nutcracker. The ornaments follow:
