The National Weather Service calls for sunny skies today with a high near 58. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 43.
Saturday, there's a chance of showers with a high near 61 and a low around 50. Sunday: A chance of showers with a high near 66 and a low around 55. Monday brings a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm with a high near 66 and a low around 41.
Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 48 and a low around 36. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 52 and a low around 37. Thursday, there's a chance of showers with a high near 45.

The Lockport Community Band and Lockport Chorale will hold a holiday concert at 7 p.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St.
The sing-along concert will be held with free admission. All are invited.

MEDINA -- Trinity Lutheran Church, 1212 West Ave., will unveil its new pipe organ at a Christmas Concert on Friday.
Christ Episcopal Catherdral of Cincinnati donated its 28-rank Holtkamp pipe organ to Trinity in 2014. Chesapeake Organ Service was hired to clean, rewire, and reinstall the organ at Trinity.
The organist for the concert is Chesapeake's owner, Tim Smith, a graduate of the Boston Conservatory, and also the founder and Executive Director of the Portageville Chapel in Wyoming County.
Trinity's Holtkamp organ is distinguished by its exposed pipes, limited casework, and bright, assertive voicing.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free with free-will offering.

Lockside Art Center will open a Holiday Art Exhibit and Art Sale from noon to 4 p.m. Friday.
Featuring the work of local artists and artisans, all of the art in the gallery will be for sale during the exhibit which runs through Dec. 13. The art comes in many different mediums including drawings, paintings, photography, computer generated images, fabric art, sculpture, and more.
Lockside Art Center, 21-41 Main St. (Suite 208), is open from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and by appointment.

The Middleport Community Choirs will perform a concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Middleport United Methodist Church.
The title of the concert and its musical selections are centered around the theme of “Peace.”
Both the choral group and the Middleport Belltones will be singing and ringing for the concert.
A free will offering will be taken.
East Niagara Post is the official media sponsor of Hockey Day in Lockport.
