MEDINA -- Trinity Lutheran Church, 1212 West Ave., will unveil its new pipe organ at a Christmas Concert on Friday.
Christ Episcopal Catherdral of Cincinnati donated its 28-rank Holtkamp pipe organ to Trinity in 2014. Chesapeake Organ Service was hired to clean, rewire, and reinstall the organ at Trinity.
The organist for the concert is Chesapeake's owner, Tim Smith, a graduate of the Boston Conservatory, and also the founder and Executive Director of the Portageville Chapel in Wyoming County.
Trinity's Holtkamp organ is distinguished by its exposed pipes, limited casework, and bright, assertive voicing.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free with free-will offering.
