The Niagara-Orleans Bridal Show and Basket Raffle will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at Terry’s Corners Fire Co.

Terry's Corners Auxiliary is hosting the event for the second year, with wedding-related vendors exclusively from Niagara and Orleans counties including bridal shops, limousines, salons, florists, photographers, bakeries, disc jockeys, gift ideas and more.

Linda Hausman, president of the Terry’s Corners Auxiliary, said “This event was such a success last year we were eager to showcase our facility and support local businesses once again.”

Last year’s Bridal Show hosted over 300 guests.

Door prizes will be given away throughout the event. Brides are encouraged to bring their groom along, too. In addition to meeting with vendors, attendees can purchase tickets for the basket raffle featuring prizes from local businesses.

Donna Eick, owner of Donna Eick’s restaurant on Charles Street and Terry’s Corner’s exclusive caterer, will be on hand to discuss catering options and Shelly Budziszewski from Terry’s Corners will be available to discuss and schedule hall rentals.

Budziszewski said, “We still have limited availability for 2015 and are beginning to take bookings for 2016…our facility is growing in popularity with local brides because of the beautiful remodel and Donna Eick’s delicious food.”

Terry’s Corners hosts weddings, reunions, and anniversary parties, especially for parties over 150 people.

Anyone with questions regarding the Niagara-Orleans Bridal Show is asked to contact Linda Hausman at 984-4646 or via the event page on Facebook.

The snow and cold led to several cancelations the past few days — but it also led to at least one extension.

The Niagara Wine Trail announced this afternoon that since the inclement weather — especially in Erie County ― has kept people at home this weekend, they decided to extend the annual "Be Mine With Wine" event into next weekend, Feb. 20-22. Pre-purchased tickets will be valid next weekend, and tickets will again be sold at the door.

The wine trail anticipates full participation in this extension, but say they will update the list as they hear from wineries throughout the weekend.

Those unable to attend this weekend or next weekend, can exchange their tickets for a future event. Email sales@niagarawinetrail.org with your order confirmation number, the name the tickets were placed under, and which upcoming event you'd like to use them towards.
