WHEATFIELD -- The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred early this morning at 7-Eleven, 6880 Plaza Dr.
According to NCSO, the suspect, described as a white male, 5-foot 11, inches, approximately 185 pounds, walked into the store at approximately 4:38 a.m., displaying a black handgun. He was wearing a dark grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a purple ball cap with a flat brim and had a "scruffy" or a few days growth of facial hair.
The suspect then exited the store and was observed fleeing the scene northbound on Plaza Drive.
Anyone with any information is asked to call call Inv. Schell at 438-3328 during business hours or the Sheriff's Office 24-hour number at 438-3393.
