A 20-year-old Lockport man was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Davison Road.
According to the arrest report, Troopers immediately detected the odor of alcohol emitting from Kyle W. Rutland while talking to him. He was determined to be intoxicated. Investigation revealed a small plastic bag containing approximately 20 grams of marijuana.
Rutland was issued an appearance ticket and traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Lockport Court on Dec. 10.
