TOWN OF LOCKPORT -- A 44-year-old Cambria man was charged by New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation with fourth-degree grand larceny, accused of taking money from a homeowner and failing to fulfill the services he was paid for.

According to NYSP, Craig D. Semple was hired  to remove a barn from a Town of Lockport property back in April 2015. The homeowner paid Semple in full and he never returned to the residence after receiving payment.

Semple was arrested and processed at SP Lockport. He was issued an Appearance Ticket returnable to the Town of Pendleton Court on Dec. 23.

Anyone who has experienced any problems after hiring Craig Semple as a Contractor is asked to contact Inv. Thomas Gibbons at 434-1245.
