The 8U Mite Major Clarence Stallions fell to the Lakeview Warriors 4-0 October 17th at the Cornerstone Arena in Lockport.

The Stallions trailed 2-0 after the first period following Lakeview goals off odd man rushes. Clarence then tightened down the defense and benefited from several key stops by goalie Matteo Mancini. Playing strong in the offensive zone, the team had several good scoring opportunities in the second period but were unable to solve the Warriors goaltending. Pressing to tie in the third period, the Stallions allowed the final two goals of the game. Final shots on goal were 16-14 in favor of Lakeview.

Game pucks were awarded to defenseman Josh McLellan and forward Chase Bukaty and the team hardhat award was presented to hard working Jake Economou.

Clarence travels east this weekend to play a Saturday doubleheader against the Rochester River Monsters and the Rochester Grizzlies. Sunday the team returns home to complete a home and home versus the River Monsters at Hockey Outlet in Wheatfield.
