BUFFALO -- The Buffalo Sabres dropped another game Saturday night -- to the New Jersey Devils, by a score of 4-3.
The Sabres, now 2-6-0 have lost four of the past five.
Tyler Ennis gave Buffalo a 1-0 lead 8:42 into the first period, beating Devils goalie Cory Schneider.
Ryan O'Reilly's third goal of the season gave Buffalo a 2-1 lead 2:31 into the second period, but New Jersey tied the game again.
Buffalo rookie Jack Eichel scored his third goal of the season, on a power play with 45 seconds left in the third period.

- With the loss, the Sabres have lost four straight games to the Devils for the first time since Nov. 19, 2003 to Oct. 28, 2005.
- Ryan O'Reilly's three-point (1+2) night gives him eight points (4+4) in his last seven games against the Devils.
- O'Reilly led all Sabres with an ice time of 22:25, upping his season average to 20:59, leading all Sabres forwards and ranking fourth among NHL forwards.
- With two points (1+1) tonight, Tyler Ennis now has seven points (4+3) in his last six games against New Jersey.
- Jack Eichel scored his third goal of the season and logged 19:42 of ice time. Eichel leads all NHL rookies with 19:31 of ice time per game.
