ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
TOWN OF LOCKPORT — The Niagara County Sheriff's Office took a report Monday from a man whose rented bulldozer was shot.
According to the complainant, he had rented a Kamatsu bulldozer to use on the 55 acres of land he owns on North Canal Road. Sometime between 5 p.m. Sept. 4 and 10 a.m. Sept. 7, an unknown suspect shot the right side window out on the door of the bulldozer when it was parked about 2500 yards north of his residence.
The man said that he called Anderson Equipment and advised them of the damage to the bulldozer. He told patrol that his insurance company requested that a police report be filled out for the damage to the bulldozer window, which was in the amount of $842.00.
The complainant told NCSO that several people often walk through the north side of his property because it borders the wilderness park on Slayton Settlement Road.
