Wendy M. Ophardt
GASPORT — A 55-year-old Brockport woman was charged Monday with felony grand larceny, accused of stealing lottery tickets from her employer.

According to New York State Police, Wendy M. Ophardt stole approximately $2,300 in lottery tickets over the course of approximately the last year while employed at Crosby's. Ophardt manipulated the computer inventory records to avoid detection. She was also charged with felony falsifying of business records.

Ophardt was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Royalton Court on Sept. 10.

  1. People get crazy about getting the easy money and do not even think of the consequences. Being a lottery playing both over-the-counter and on-line ( thelotter review) myself I can say that the key rule implies responsible playing. And frankly speaking I do not feel pity for her because she had done that deliberately and more probably was not the victim of circumstances.
