Lockport police are looking for two men alleged to have fired gunshots at two other men around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
According to police, a pair of Lockport men made their way home from a bar early Thursday morning only to be confronted by two masked men in a parking lot behind an Ohio Street home. One of the masked men fired two shots towards the complainants, missing them and striking the south side exterior wall of a West Avenue building. The suspects then fled on foot southbound on Ohio Street.
Police are asking anyone with any information about the incident or the assailants to call the confidential tip line at 439-6707.
LPD Chief Larry Eggert said, “what complicates this is the complainant was arrested also for some drug charges.”
Jason I. Jones, 33, 87 Bristol Ave., was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and driving with a suspended registration.
