A 24-year-old Newfane man was charged Monday with theft, accused of stealing aluminum step ladders.
According to New York State Police, Martin H. Reyes was seen leaving a property with the aluminum step ladders in his pickup truck. The property was later recovered at a scrap yard.
Reyes was transported to SP Lockport for processing. He was arraigned on charges of grand larceny in Newfane Court and remanded to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
