The Kenan Center Gallery will host a free public reception for the Fine Arts League of Buffalo 62nd Annual Spring Juried Open Exhibition from 2-5 p.m. Sunday. The exhibit continues through July 19.
The Fine Arts League is a 61-year-old organization dedicated to the appreciation and promotion of realism in art. Twenty-six artists will be represented in the exhibit. They are: Sally Blain, Paula Borkowski, Karen Carbonara, Thomas Dalbo, Marc Duquette, Roberta Eisenhart, Penny Ferguson, Joan Hambleton, Paulette Jurek, Pat Kraus, Ron Kucinski, Elaine LaVigne, Eileen McNamara, Kaaren Metcalf, Doris Palmer Morris, Teri Jo Ritz, Paul Rybarczyk, DeEtta Silvestro, Don Sadkowski, E. Jane Stoddard, Andrea Tasevski, Sandra Orlando Vanich, Laura Wysocki, Jody Ziehm, and NancyZielinski. A variety of media is presented in the exhibit including oil, watercolor, acrylic, colored pencil, pastel, and mixed media.
Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, noon-5 p.m. and Sundays, 2-5 p.m. The Gallery will be closed July 3-5 for the Independence holiday and is closed Saturdays through the summer. For more information, call 433-26517 or go online to www.kenancenter.org.
