A fundraiser Saturday evening at Lockport's Historic Palace Theatre aims to raise money for a Starpoint fourth-grader diagnosed with acute lymphoblasic leukemia.
Drew Beiter, diagnosed Oct. 2, is currently receiving treatment at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. His treatment plan will require outpatient visits, hospital stays, platelet and blood transfusions, doctors visits, etc. A group calling itself "Team Drew" is raising money in order to offset the cost of his three-year medical treatment plan.
The 6-10 p.m. event will offer hors d'ouvres, a cash bar, musical entertainment, a 50/50 basket raffle, and more. Tickets are $10 at the door or can be purchased from Jodi at 251-2003 or Jen at 514-3358.

thank you for putting this in your paper. This benefit was a huge success. Thanking all the people who came and all the people who donated to this fundraiser for my Grandson Drew Beiter
