Rivers, Gail H. of Lockport, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 6, 2015 in Odd Fellow & Rebekah HCF.

Born December 17, 1939 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Eva Spencer Rivers. Gail was a graduate of Niagara falls High School and Doyle’s Beauty School after which she owned her own Salon, ”The Shearing Den” in Niagara Falls. Along with being a great stylist she was an astute business woman as owner/operator of a stylish boutique for women’s clothing. After fifty two years, she retired and moved to Lockport where she called home for the past five years.

Gail is survived by five siblings, Marlene (late Salvatore) Gasbarre, Dawn (Ronald) Huey both of Niagara Falls, Robert S. (Sharon) Rivers of Sarasota, FL, Judith (Dr. Lawrence) Volland of Lockport, and Patricia (Michael) Barnes of Las Vegas, NV. Gail was cherished by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and loving friends.

Friends may call on Friday May 15th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 186 East Ave., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 16th at 10:00 AM from St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
