It’s art show time once again at the Niagara History Center when the Niagara Arts Guild Spring Show begins with a 2 p.m. Saturday reception open to the public. The juried exhibit will run through Tuesday, May 19.

More than 25 artists from Niagara and Erie Counties will present new works in this show in a variety of media, including oils, watercolors, pastels, colored pencils and sculpture. The popular exhibit presents the work of many talented, award-winning local artists.

The Niagara Arts Guild offers annual spring and fall exhibits. Brady Zbrojewski is serving as chairperson of the spring show.

The Niagara History Center is located at 215 Niagara St. in Lockport. Admission to the exhibit is free of charge. Admission to the museum complex is $4 for adults, free for children under 18. Regular History Center hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The History Center of Niagara is operated by the Niagara County Historical Society, and includes the five-building Museum Complex, the Erie Canal Discovery Center and the Col. William Bond/Jesse Hawley House.
