NetPlus Alliance, a buying group for industrial and contractor supplies distributors, has announced Kerry Atlas as the company’s new Vice President of Finance and Information Technology (IT).
The company says that Atlas brings a wealth of experience, with over 19 years of experience in business and a heavy financial background. Prior to joining NetPlus Alliance, she was with Tops Markets for 15 years and has had proven success in business management. Atlas managed both people and systems in her previous roles and was responsible for the accounting of millions of dollars of inventory. With her experience in planning and implementing technological advancement, she is expected to facilitate changes that will benefit NetPlus Alliance’s members.
She will be overseeing the financial and IT departments at NetPlus Alliance. More specifically, Atlas will be developing and executing short- and long-term goals within these departments to better improve the overall experience for their members.
Atlas began working with NetPlus Alliance on March 16 and is based out of Lockport.
“What I’m really looking forward to is learning about an entirely new industry and making a difference. I bring a different set of skills to the team – so I hope to compliment an already fantastic group,” she said.
“Kerry has the right combination of financial experience and creativity to help us streamline our processes and bring our technology to the next level,” said NetPlus Alliance President Jennifer Murphy. Her strong analytical background will provide guidance and insight for the long-term development and growth of NetPlus Alliance.”
Atlas earned an Executive MBA with Distinction – Beta Gamma Sigma – from the State University of New York at Buffalo and also a Bachelor of Science in Business from Liberty University.
Atlas and her husband are avid Bills and Sabres fans and live on Lake Ontario with their three children.
