Jean T. Mullane passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport.
Born in Niagara Falls on October 2, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rachel O’Neil Cleary. Jean graduated from Niagara University School of Nursing, and worked as a Registered Nurse at Mount Saint Mary’s Hospital. Jean was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, and the Lockport College Women’s Club; she enjoyed playing bridge and going to dinner with her Friday Night Dinner Group. Jean is predeceased by her husband, John “Jack” Mullane, who passed away on May 5, 2003.
Jean is survived by her children, Michael (Beth) Mullane, Daniel (Anita) Mullane, Paul (Annette) Mullane, Kathleen (David) Good, David (Laurie Anne) Mullane, Thomas (Kimberly) Mullane and Patricia Mullane; grandmother of Lisa (R. Abram) DeBadts, Kimberly Mullane, Laura (Benjamin Whipple) Mullane, John (Amanda) Mullane, Emily Good, Jessica Mullane, Noah Mullane, Patrick Good, Elizabeth Mullane, Molly Mullane, Sarah Mullane, Jack Mullane, Ryan Mullane and Andrew Mullane; great grandmother to Paige and Jack DeBadts. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jean is predeceased by her siblings T. Joseph (Margaret) Cleary, John (Rita) Cleary, David (Loraine) Cleary, Arthur Cleary, Lorraine (Eugene) Monin, and Ruth Cleary.
Relatives and friends may call Thursday 6 to 8 PM and Friday 3 to 6 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 12 PM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut Street, Lockport. Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to Niagara Hospice or to DeSales Catholic School would be appreciated by the family.
