He was born in Lockport, NY, March 10, 1962, the son of Janet Perry Paterson of West Falls, NY and the late Douglas G. Paterson. Brian owned and operated D. G. Paterson and Sons in Lockport, NY, he worked for the family business all his life. He enjoyed traveling, especially to St. Martin and was a car enthusiast.

Father of Carly Paterson of Tampa, FL and Katie Paterson of East Amherst, NY. Brother of Paul (Melissa) Paterson of West Falls, NY, Kathleen (Jeff) Smith of Sanborn, NY and the late Mark Paterson and Bridget Donato.

Family and friends may call the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on TUESDAY from 2-4 & 6-8 PM where a Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 PM.
