A huge boom — sounding like an explosion — went off in the City and Town of Lockport around 11:05 p.m. Friday, but more than 90 minutes later, the source remains unknown.
The sound was heard throughout the city and parts of the town, although most reports of it came from the city's northeast side.
Lockport Police went out in search of the source, but came back empty handed. No fires were reported at the time either.
