NEWFANE — A 26-year-old Gasport woman was charged Thursday with illegal possession of a hypodermic needle after a traffic stop on Autumnview Station.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office report, Melissa A. Walker, 3963 Orangeport Road, Gasport, was stopped after patrol received a report of possible drug activity in her vehicle.
After receiving consent to search the vehicle, patrol located hypodermic syringes and a spoon in the trunk of the vehicle. She was taken into custody and transported to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $250 bail.
He is due in Newfane Town Court on Tuesday.
