TOWN OF LOCKPORT — An 18-year-old Lockport man was charged with marijuana possession Friday afternoon after Niagara County Sheriff's deputies stopped him for following another vehicle too closely.
According to the NCSO report, Anthony R. Wall, 310 Clinton St., nearly struck the vehicle in front of him around 4:42 p.m. before deputies pulled him over on South Transit Road.
Patrol noticed the smell of marijuana and Wall admitted that he had some under the front passenger seat of the vehicle.
He was given an appearance ticket to Town of Lockport Court on April 21. The pot was confiscated and sent for testing.
