CLARENCE — A 43-year-old Gasport woman is facing multiple charges on claims that while employed as a cleaning woman in Clarence, she stole personal property from residents' homes.

New York State Police say they investigated multiple claims, which revealed that Kimberly Leonard had taken property such as jewelry, clothing, personal checks, gift cards, as well as, various other items over a period of months, while in their employ.

State Police arrested Leonard on two counts of petit larceny, one count of fourth-degree grand larceny, and three counts of second-degree forgery of an official document. She was arraigned before the Town of Clarence Justice and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center.

She is scheduled to appear on Thursday for a felony hearing in the Town of Clarence.
