ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
What could be a more romantic Valentine's Day experience than running 10 miles in the freezing cold with your sweetheart?
Camp Kenan will hold the 44th Annual Y10 Open Road Race Saturday, featuring a challenging 10-mile course, a relay option allowing you to divide up the fun with a friend or that someone special, and a 5-mile course for the half-hearted.
Do you have what it takes to conquer the blustery winter weather, hills and open farmland?
Y10 participants will start and end in front of the YMCA, while Y5 participants and Y10 relay runners will be bused out to Slayton Settlement Road at the 5 mile mark of the race and run the second half of the Y10 course. This offers a more challenging experience as well as the chance to cross the finish line in front of the YMCA on Main St.
Shuttle services provided by Ridge Road Express. There will be absolutely no parking on the south side of Slayton Settlement Road.
Registration starts at just $10 for the Y5 and $15 for the Y10. For more information, visit the race page on Score-This.com. The Camp Kenan Y10 is a Score-This hosted event.
