ENP STAFF REPORTS

TOWN OF LOCKPORT ― Niagara County Sheriff's deputies were called to Kimberly Drive for a report of a neighbor problem involving a snowblower.

According to the NCSO report, one neighbor was upset because the other parked his car where he was throwing snow with his snowblower — right in front of his residence. The original complainant said that the neighbor then got upset when the snow from the complainant's snow blower blew towards his vehicle, got out of his vehicle and started yelling at him in an attempt to bait him into a physical altercation. He stated he told the neighbor not to park his vehicle there when he's clearing his driveway because that's the direction the snow blows. The neighbor then moved his vehicle back into his driveway, got into his work vehicle and left the area.

The neighbor, meanwhile, told patrol that he had parked his vehicle in front of the complainant's residence so he could clear the snow out of his driveway. He stated he believes the original complainant intentionally blew snow onto his vehicle, but denied any verbal exchange.

Patrol advised the neighbor to contact the police if any future issues arise, and to avoid unnecessary confrontations with the complainant.
