PENDLETON — A 28-year-old Lockport man was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana.
According to a report from the New York State Police, Nickolas J. Bailey was stopped for speeding on Campbell Boulevard when Troopers noticed an odor of marijuana coming from inside his vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a small clear plastic bag containing approximately 16 grams of marijuana and smoking paraphernalia containing marihuana residue.
Bailey was arrested and transported to SP Lockport where he was issued a speeding citation and an appearance ticket for the possession charge returnable to the Town of Pendleton Court on March 4.
