The City of Lockport Sesquicentennial Committee is looking for area residents to contribute to a special video that will highlight the city’s history by documenting 150 facts about Lockport.
Anyone interested in being a part of this community effort is asked to go to LCTV anytime between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. March 3 to be recorded stating a fact or telling a brief story about the City of Lockport. Facts and testimonials will also be recorded at LCTV on Monday by appointment.
The video will be shown at the Historic Palace Theatre on April 11, the 150th anniversary of the founding of the City of Lockport. It will also be available for purchase on DVD as part of the fundraising effort to pay for the many Sesquicentennial celebration events to be held June 27 - July 5.
