TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A Dysinger Road man was charged early Sunday morning with DWI after Niagara County Sheriff's deputies found his car in a ditch.

According to the NCSO report, patrol responded around 3:43 a.m. to a report of a vehicle stuck in a ditch on Dysinger Road. When they arrived, they found 29-year-old Cory J. Prentice, 6485 Dysinger Road, Apt. 6, in the driver's seat with the engine running.

Prentice was determined to be intoxicated but refused a chemical test to determine the alcohol content of his blood.

He was taken to Niagara County Jail and held on $250 pre-arraignment bail. He was slated for Town of Lockport Court on Tuesday on charges of DWI and failure to keep right.
