NEWFANE — A Corwin Station woman told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies on Friday that someone had tried to break into her home earlier this month.
The woman said the incident happened overnight from Jan. 13-14 when it appears that an unknown person tried to gain entry through a sliding glass door of her home. She said she had hear a noise at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 14 and believes that it when it may have happened.
No entry was gained and the woman decided not to report the incident until some friends convinced her otherwise.
