TOWN OF LOCKPORT — Thirty-year-old Justin R. Dietz of Lockport was arrested on a petit larceny warrant after Troopers responded to his residence for a laceration, the New York State Police reported today.
The petit larceny arrest stemmed from a December 16 investigation of a "stolen Sony iPad from a family member" which Dietz reportedly then pawned. Following the investigation an arrest warrant was issued out of the Town of Lockport Court.
Dietz was transported to SP Lockport where he was processed and arraigned before the Lockport Town Court for the charge of Petit Larceny. He was committed to Niagara County Jail in lieu of $500 cash / $2,000 bond.
