Lockport Mayor Anne McCaffrey announced this evening that she has appointed Christopher Prucha to the city's Fire Board.
The mayor said via press release that Prucha "has the analytical skills and passion for Lockport to be an effective commissioner."
“I’ve known Christopher for many years and I have always been impressed by his intelligence, common sense and dedication. I know that Christopher will take his role seriously and will serve the residents of Lockport well,” McCaffrey said.
Prucha, the Director of Groundwater Protection with Waste Management, is a graduate of Syracuse University and the University of Oklahoma. He has been active in several local organizations including the Exchange Club, DeSales Catholic School, and St. Mary’s Church. He and his wife, Kathy, have three children.
