HARTLAND — A homeowner in the 3300 block of Mill Road told Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that someone had stolen a 50-inch television from his home.
The complainant told patrol that he had been away and when he returned on Friday around 6 p.m., he noticed that the door into his garage was opened. He also stated he then noticed the side door from the garage into the residence was forced open.
The complainant said there were no other items missing from the residence. He valued the television at $500 and valued the damage to the door and frame at $200.
He said he did not have any idea who the thief may have been.
Patrol notified the Criminal Investigations Bureau.
