ENP STAFF REPORTS
news@eastniagarapost.com
A woman's dog may have saved her from harm when a man with a gun threatened the woman on Washburn Street around 10 p.m. Thursday.
According to the LPD report, the woman was walking her dog near Evans Street on the west side of the road when a large white four-door sedan, which she believed may have been a Crown Victoria or something similar, pulled up next to her.
The driver of the vehicle pointed a black handgun at her and said “you’re dead, bitch.”
The woman’s dog then attacked the man in the car, who then fled, traveling east on Evans Street and north on Erie Street.
The driver of the vehicle was described as a light-skinned black male with hispanic accent wearing a jacket. There was also a male passenger in the front of the car and a female passenger in the rear wearing glasses. All appeared to be in their late 20s or early 30s.
