A 30-year-old Lockport man was charged Friday with grand larceny and identity theft after New York State Police say he took $400 out of a woman's bank account without her consent.
According to the arrest report, Justin R. Dietz, 30, took a debit card from a woman he knew, accessed the account, by using her PIN and withdrew the cash.
He was charged with petit larceny, second-degree identity theft, and fourth-degree grand larceny. Dietz was arraigned before the Town of Lockport Court and remanded to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail. He is scheduled to re-appear before the court on a later date.
