GASPORT — A 24-year-old Lockport man stands accused of punching a Royalton Center Road man after a verbal altercation on Friday.
According to the arrest report, filed Monday by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office, Joshua D. Michel, 277 Elmwood Ave., Lower, was waiting in the car in the car in the driveway while the complainant talked with his daughter. While the complainant was talking to his daughter in the garage, Michel kept coming up to the garage door and telling his daughter to hurry up. The complainant said that when he walked out to the driveway, Michel started to argue with him. The argument was reported to patrol to have turned physical and Michel punched the complainant in the face then threw him to the ground. The complainant suffered cuts to his forearms and fingers.
Patrol arrested Michel at his home and charged him with second-degree harassment. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Royalton Court date Dec. 2.
