The Niagara Wine Trail USA wineries have partnered with local food banks and charitable organizations to ensure a bountiful holiday season for area residents in need. During the annual Share the Bounty event, held Veterans Day weekend, Nov. 7-10, participating Niagara Wine Trail wineries will be accepting non-perishable food items and/or monetary donations in exchange for wine tastings to benefit the food bank or non-profit of their choice.
Share the Bounty will be held from noon-5 p.m. Nov. 7, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Nov. 8, and noon-5 p.m. Nov 9 and 10.
Last year, The Niagara Wine Trail wineries combined raised over $9,780 and donated over 550 non-perishable food items. This year's partnerships for Share the Bounty include (with more to be announced):

- A Gust of Sun Winery - All tasting fees will be donated to the WNY Heroes organization. Or, donate one non-perishable, non-expired food item in exchange for one taste of wine. Food items will be donated to a local food bank.
- Arrowhead Spring Vineyards - All tasting fees will be donated to Meals on Wheels.
- Eveningside Vineyards - Tasting fees will benefit Response to Love Center in Buffalo.
- Flight of Five Winery - Donating to St. John's Outreach in Lockport.
- Honeymoon Trail Winery - Tasting fees will be donated to Mercy Flight.
- Long Cliff Winery - Tasting fees will be donated to the Cambria Fire Company.
- Leonard Oakes Estate Winery - Tasting fees will benefit Food Link.
- Midnight Run Wine Cellars - Tasting fees donated to Stroke Awareness.
- Niagara Landing Wine Cellars - All wine tasting fees, as well as non-perishables, will be donated to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 120. Donate $3 or three items for tasting (six tastes). Hygiene product donations are encouraged. Winery is also a collection site for the community Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive.
- Schulze Vineyards & Winery - Tasting fees will be donated to the Newfane Community food pantry. Monetary donations accepted, or donate three food items per tasting.
- Schwenk Wine Cellars - All tasting fees will be donated to the Kendall Community Food Cupboard.
- The Winery at Marjim Manor - Tasting fees donated to Barker Food Pantry. Also taking donations for the Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive. Peanut Butter and Jelly jars are accepted. Trade one taste per jar donated Nov. 1-Dec. 10th.
- Victorianbourg Wine Estate - For each non-perishable food item donated your tasting fee will be reduced by $1 (regular tasting fee is $3, so three or more food items donated will earn a free tasting). All items donated will benefit the Wilson Community Food Pantry at St. Brendan-on-the-Lake Church, Wilson NY.
- Vizcarra Vineyards - Tasting fees donated to the Gasport Zion Lutheran Church food bank.
